  • He has won the Screen Videocon Awards for the Best Playback (Male) in 1995
  • Colonial Cousins won MTV Indian Viewer's choice award at New York. The album also won the Best Album, Best Pop Song, Best Production Values and the Viewer's Choice Award for 1996 at the [V] Channel Music Awards Nite.
  • Screen Videocon Awards for the Best Male Pop Artiste and Kaash has won the Best Album in 2000.

  • In 2010 , He has won the 2nd National award for the best playback singer for the soulful rendition of the song "Jeeva Dangala, Gundla Rangla Ahsa” from the Marathi movie “Jogava” composed by Ajay Atul
  • He has been Awarded a Best Playback singer award for the song “Nenjukkul Peidhidum O …Shanthi” Film Vaaranam Aahiram and the same song is nominated for National Award.
